You can change the pin labels and colors, add your own photos and web links, and include a description about each place.
Let's get started:

If you are editing an existing location you need yo click on the search field in order to look for the location you would like to re-assign.
Change pin label The default pin label will be text that is assigned to the location. You can change the label name to anything you like in the “Pin label” field.
Change Pin color Change the color of the pins easily. Click on the Color circle and select one of the available colors. The Pin will change to the color you selected.
Add or change pin photo In order to show your own photos, add the web URL of the photo to the “Pin link” text field. There is no need to upload any photos. You will see the image in the preview thumbnail to check if it’s the correct photo before updating.

Right clicking on an image on any webpage and selecting “Copy Image address” will give you the URL of the image you need.
☝
* If Textomap finds photos of the location it will automatically display it in the pin pop-up. * If Textomap did not find any relevant photo, it will show a placeholder image. * If you wish to not show any images, remove the Wikipedia link or leave empty.
Link any web page to the location pin To link the pin to any webpage simple enter the link URL in the “Pin link” field and when users click on the link in the pop-up, the link will open in a new tab.
☝
* If Textomap find a Wikipedia page for the location, it will automatically add it to the pin. * If you don’t want to have any link, remove the Wikipedia link and leave the field empty.
Add a description to the location pin You can write up to 200 characters about the location and provide more information. We limit descriptions to 200 characters to make sure they will be readable in the map pop-ups.
